The fields full of flowers in the ‘Bollenstreek’ (Dutch for flowerbulb area) attract many tourists from all around the world every year. It’s truly mesmerizing to see the rainbow of colours that the blooming fields create, and to enjoy the diverse palette of daffodils, tulips, hyacinths and other bulb flowers. The beauty of spring can’t be seen or experienced so clearly anywhere else.
Later in the year the flowers still create a blooming region. Not just once, but twice a year you can visit the beautifully coloured fields. It’s a mere 30-minute drive from Nieuwkoop, however cycling through the flower fields is an even more amazing experience! Don’t forget to bring your camera!
